Our destination is Askeli of Poros in the Vassilis Studios complex www.vassilis-studios.gr
"Vassilis Studios" are located in a calm and quiet area of Askeli, next to a pine hill and offer you a beautiful and comfortable stay at 2 km distance from the main town of Poros.
The main beach of Askeli is located at 200m from the venue. The beach is organized and provides sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and bar service, as well as water sports.
The hotel complex has a large, comfortable fenced area with lawn and private parking. It also has its own large pool with jacuzzi, as well as a separate children's pool, in a large area with sunbeds, tables and umbrellas.
Nearby there are supermarkets and mini-markets that offer all the needed supplies and a rental shop for short excursions.
On the nearby coastal road you can find coffee, bars, restaurants, grill and several picturesque taverns with quality homey food and very reasonable prices.

How can you arrive in Poros?
1. By Ferry Boat
From the port of Piraeus, there are departures of Ferry boats in direction to Poros, which receive passengers, cars and motorcycles.
The journey takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
2. By Flying Dolphins by Hellenic Seaways
The Flying Dolphins also depart from Piraeus. The duration of the jourey is about 1 hour by "flying dolphin" and 1 hour & 20 minutes by "flying cat".
3. By Aegean Flying Dolphins
Aegean flying dolphins depart daily from the port of Piraeus to Poros.
The duration of the trip is about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
4. By Bus - KTEL
Every day a KTEL bus departs from the Peloponnese station at 16.30, which reaches Galata, in about 2.5 hours, located opposite Poros (just across a small canal of sea).
The transport from Galatas to Poros is:
A. By boat around the clock. Duration 5 minutes and departures every 15 minutes, from 06:00 to 24:00 and every 30 minutes from 24:00 to 06:00.
B. Departures of small ferries are every 30 minutes
5. By car:
How to get there in your own car.
If you have your own car or you are using a rented one, then you can easily come from Athens in about 2 hours & 15 minutes in the direction of Galatas - Poros. You can pass from Galatas to Poros on small ferries that depart every 30 minutes. The duration of the ferry crossing is 5-10 minutes.
